Loreto House Creative is excited to share the story of Gabrielle Damasceno, the blogger behind @Saveyour2cents_! Without further ado, let’s dive right into Gabrielle’s story!
“My name is Gabrielle and I am a fashion and lifestyle blogger posting all things faith & fashion and of course finding high-end brands for an affordable price! Because who doesn’t love saving money “
“My mission is to help women relate fashion to their faith by feeling confident in what God has created.”
I must say that all of Gabrielle’s posts are always on point. She shares amazing tips on fashion and it is such a breath of fresh air to learn how to be absolutely Catholic but also be stylin’!
The crazy thing about Gabrielle is that she is a full-time teacher...so she gets her content posted in her free time! That shocked me because it absolutely looked like she was actually a full-time blogger. That definitely shows how important it is to be consistent.
The way Gabrielle has found to differentiate herself is by showing others how Faith and fashion are actually related and can work together.
She shares that “staying true in what you believe in and not trying to please others” is how she believes anyone can find success.
Gabrielle lastly shares some words of encouragement:
“STOP caring about what other people are thinking or saying about you. You are your own person and God created you in His likeness & image and created you a certain way for a reason! You are made for so much greatness don’t let other people tell your otherwise.”
I think the reason Gabrielle’s story and blog really caught my attention was because I grew up homeschooled but also had a mom that LOVED fashion. It was extremely important to her that I looked and dressed well and she impressed that importance on me. Even though I wouldn’t say I get all “dolled-up” every day, I still cherish and believe dressing to impress is so important. God has given us a passion for fashion, design, and beauty, and what better way to express our God-given passion by wearing clothes that speak to God’s glory.
I have always believed that you can be stylish without being immodest. Gabrielle proves that with every look she shares on her blog.
I personally want to thank Gabrielle for being bold and pressing into the gifts God has given her.
